Publisher's Diary: Last Week of 2023
Going out with a bang – or a whimper?
Hello everyone, and Happy New Year, when you get there (timezone and email diligence permitting). Something just for the paid subscribers today, to say an extra thank you for supporting myself and Valley Press over the past five months or so.
It’s a new format of post I wanted to try out, where I simply write up what I’m doing each day (in my working life and beyond), how it’s going, what I think about it, and maybe slide in a few of my trademark “witty observations”. I may continue this style of post in 2024; it seems like it would offer some unique insights, though I haven’t decided if they’ll always be paywalled. I did feel I could be a bit more frank, knowing the diary wasn’t for broad public consumption…
Anyway, let me know what you think, and I’ll see the whole lot of you in 2024 for what should be a year to remember. Look after yourselves!
