Hi folks! This post is not going out via email; there’s not quite enough interesting content here for the masses, but I wanted to share a list of our forthcoming publications, and the blog felt like the right venue. The list will be edited frequently and kept up to date; it was last edited 13th January 2025.
Titles are listed in order of production priority, not release date – so when I sit down at my desk, I see if there’s anything I can do to advance the first one listed, and if not, move on to the second, then third, and so on. As a result, the main audience for this post will probably be the authors named below, checking where they stand in the queue – but I hope it will be of interest to bookshops and other stakeholders too.
I’ve also noted the genre and format (paperback or hardback) of each release, as well as whether the title will be available to the trade on a sale-or-return basis (look for SOR) – the infrastructure to offer that is now hugely expensive, but I know the lack thereof can be a deal-breaker for some bookshops, so we offer it whenever feasible.
Finally, in parenthesis, I’ve noted the expected release date, where there is one, and whether the title will be published through our Lendal Press imprint – though at time of writing, the imprint has only just been re-opened for submissions, so there aren’t too many of those yet.
Plenty to look forward to!
